I just returned to Dallas from an overnight stay at this property . . . .

The purpose of the trip was not to bass fish, but rather to spend some quiet time with my kids.  I can’t imagine how a property could be set up any better for a weekend stay . . . it is absolutely perfect!  Do yourself a favor and find a weekend to go out and stay . . . take your wife or girlfriend (not on the same weekend though) and they will love it . . . kids will love it . . . stressed-out dads will REALLY love it.

The kids fished off the pier and caught 75 to 100 small crappie, along with 8 catfish in the 8 to 10lb range.  Those with kids know that this didn’t leave any time for bass fishing so I can’t offer a report.

The landowner stopped by to say hi and he is a great guy.  He pointed out that both outdoor lights have switches so they can be turned off to enjoy the stars and your lakeside campfire even more . . . every detail is perfect.  I almost hate to let the secret out, but this place is just too good to keep to myself.
