Member Ron Wood joined me at Lake Side on Monday afternoon 2/26. We took advantage of great weather (sunny in mid 60's with not too much wind) and the fish cooperated. I started off with a 8.11 but didn't catch much after that. Ron more than made up for my lack of activity by catching a 7.6, 5.4 and 4.8. Throw in a 2 lber and that is close to a 28 lb sack. The lake was clear to the surprise of both of us after all the rain we've had with visibility of 4 ft. Surface temp started out at 58 and rose to 61 at the end of the day . All the fish were caught in 4 feet of water with Tx Rigged worms of various color and sizes. They didn't want craws, lizards, sq. bill, spinner or a chatterbait.
