70 degrees, mostly cloudy and variable winds of about 10 mph throughout the afternoon greeted Benson party of 4 at Fox Lake.  Lake is down about 4 feet.  Fishing activity was good on variety of soft worms, white crank baits and caught a couple on torpedos.  Pulled 50 bass out under 14 inches.  We threw back 13 fish over 14 inches.  John Little caught a 6 pounder and one other 5 pounder was caught by another in the party.  Otherwise, the others just skirted the 14 inch limit.   If lake stays down and the ground is wet, plan on bringing your 4wd to launch a boat.  All in all, it was a great afternoon of fishing and Fox Lake was very productive on March 4, 2018.
