fished this lake this afternoon, 2/13/11 12:30 to 3:30 pm.
when i arrived i realized i had left my trolling motor! Doooh!
the road down to cabin is soup! dont drive down there when wet, i left truck at main road. could not launch boat by my self, lake was 4 to 5 foot low and slick mud 8 to 10 feet all around shore line. i tried some cranks and rattle traps -nothing,  so i grabed a board and made a ramp to water line to the right of cabin past the two large brush piles, put on a 6 inch Kriet Kreature(black neon) by Big Bite Baites. First five cast - 5 bass 3.5 to 4 lbs lost the next one. next 8 cast i caught 4 at about 4 to 5 lbs. lost one moster at the mud line..not use to draggin big bass up the shore line!!  Next one went over 5lbs, next 3 where right at 14 inches those where harvested. cant wait to actual fish this lake in a boat! all in all a good day of fishing for only 3 hrs and i caught them all in ONE spot! had to get back to the house. the small harvested bass where very healthy but the larger bass where a bit skinny thus the harvesting… come spring this lake should be really good! heck its pretty good now just a bit slippery…
