This was the first time being at this location. We stayed in the cabin there on the property. The house/cabin is nice bonus that this property has to offer. We met the owners who were extremely nice and hospitable. They made sure our trip was a great one.

Now, for the fishing. The weather wasn’t ideal, blowing 18-20 mph all day (fished all day taking 3 breaks throughout the day). Majority of the morning was overcast and in the upper 40’s- lower 50’s. Water temp was 68. Started with top water in the back part past the grass bar that appears was an old dam maybe? It was protected from the wind so figured to give it a try. Had one hit, but wasn’t exactly interested. We switched to soft plastics which seemed to be what they were looking for. We used junebug brush hog and red/black shaky head. Caught about 20 or so fish throughout the day, which was ok with us given the conditions we had. We stayed along the perimeter of the lake and caught everything in the shallower parts (2-5ft). Nothing in the middle except for one crappie that hit a crank bait. 

We will definitely be visiting this property again! Very nice place.
