I went out yesterday since San Antonio had a parade downtown - which is a great reason to go fishing.  I started off slow with crankbaits then moved to a topwater. I got lots of hits and plenty of action on the surface. I wish I had thrown in my fly rod because this spot would have been perfect for that. The fish were small - 16 landed in a little over 4 hours - only 2 at 17 inches. I fished crankbaits, dragged plastics in the deeper water a while and mostly stayed with the topwater where most of the action was. I hope the lake management works here. Next time I'll have the fly rod with me!
