We fished Beaver Lake for most of the day Friday with a few relaxing breaks. Mostly calm, mostly clear skies, moderate outside temps 45* to 70*. Did not check the water temp and did not bother with fish finder. Extremely clear water with visibility to 6'. We landed 8 between 2-0 and 3-10. We caught a bunch of little half pounders and several bluegill - we quit counting. Most of the little guys were on a green pumpkin soft stickbait, a bone jerkbait, or a white Beetle Spin. A few better fish on a paddle tail swimbait. No real patterns or locations - except that only a few came from the shallow west end and none from the feeder creek. Had a lot of fun and are especially thankful for the new jon boat on the property.
