Matt and I hit 9G Ranch this morning, The weather rose from 66 to 90 deg, with not much wind. Water was clear to 5-6 feet. Weed growth was heavy in the shallows, but the lake is quite fishable. Bream were bedding down and there were countless small ones out there for bass food, and many of the bass were cruising the shallows.  The shallow fish were spooky and finicky, but some catchable on weightless senkos, frog, and TX-rigged worm and lizard.  The crankbait bite picked up strong in the clear deeper water later in the morning, and I caught about 8 on a Spro Li'l John.

Total—32, mostly on senko and worm.  Matt's top 5 went about 20 pounds, and my top 5 maybe 12 pounds.  They fought great as always and looked very healthy.

Tight lines!
