I fished Gallant Elms on 2 /21/2011 from 7AM until noon.

Conditions:

Water temp: 55 F
Air temp:  62 F @ 7AM; 78 F @ noon

Sky:  Overcast until 10:30 then mainly clear (basically stopped biting when the sun came out).

Number caught:  13
Size:  all 1-2 lbs

Lures:

- Medium running green/chartreuse crank bait (6 caught)

- Chrome/black rattle trap (5 caught)

- Weighted hook with green/red flake stick worm (2 caught)

All caught in 4-6 ft along the banks.  Nothing appeared to be deep on my fish finder and nothing hit on deep running crankbait. Top water in the back of the cove opposite the launch site produced no bites.
