I spent last Wednesday at 9G. It's a great lake and the grass growth is unreal. The water was crystal clear to 5 feet, slightly muddy in a couple of spots. Matted grass all over and they were thick with all kinds of small fish. I caught most of the larger fish (3-6 lbs) in 12 feet of water with a black lizard, a watermelon senko, black frog and the 10.5" monster.
At the end of the day, I noticed two 3-4 lb bass I caught had crawfish arms coming out of their mouths. I've never thrown a crawfish in the lake, but I'll try that when I get back over there Sunday. If anyone has a kayak and wants to join me, I'm happy to meet someone out there. Again, awesome lake and the bass are outstanding and healthy. Thanks to the owner and PWF.

Hi William,
Great information. Im going on Friday. What part of the lake did you catch the larger fish? Were they outside of the weed line or were they in the weeds?
Thanks,
Kit
