The wife and I spent three nights at Lakeside Friday, Saturday, Sunday the 25th-27th. Fishing was pretty good although as a previous report mentioned in two full days I never picked up much of a pattern. Total catch between the two days was about 25 fish. Very little wind so I threw a weightless Senko in a variety of colors, none more active than the others. Largest of the trip was a 5 pound 3 oz that I found suspended in the middle of the lake. Also lost large fish at the brushpile on the east shoreline and at the weed line right next to the dock. Despite spending a lot of time throwing frogs up onto the lily pads in both of the south arms I was disappointed that I only had one blow up because it sure looks like that should hold more fish. There was a fair bite on the senkos back up in those arms but all cull fish. The east shore weed line from the south fence to the dam and the same weed line along the dam produced the largest average fish, generally in the 2-3 pound range, and fish that punched above their weight. Nothing on the west shoreline, no top water bite except for that one frog blow up. Caught a few fish on a dark chatter bait and a swim bait in deep water.

Wife loved the cabin. She relaxed, read a book, napped in the hammock. Said it was very "wife-friendly" and that its her favorite cabin yet that she's seen on any of the PWF properties.
