Arrived with two guests just after sunrise and fished at this usual gem of a property, till the heat beat us down at 2PM.

No wind and water visibility limited to 6" due to suspended mud.

Fished from bank and kayak with limited success throughout the day. Between us we caught 16 LMB with the largest three at 18", 18" and a 17". Only two caught under 12". Essentially all of the bites occurred within 10' of the bank on the south side of the island, the two southern corners of the dam and along the dam itself. The bass were healthy, but extremely light in color…just a pale green tint. No other species of fish was encountered.

Lures that worked (worm and senko presentations), with limited hits on chatter baits with paddle tail trailer and spinners. Tried everything else in the tackle box throughout the tank with no success.
