I fished Jer Mar lake around 1pm on Monday February 21st unfortunately I arrived at the lake during the same time the cold front was blowing in. Temps drop 15 degrees in 2 hours. I had my boat but opted not to put it in the water due to the wind.
There were so many ponds; it was hard to decide which pond to fish, so I fished 3 of the lakes. I caught over 20 bass ranging from 10 inches to 18 inches. I kept 14 of the bass that met the harvesting requirements about 12 total pounds. I did catch 3 that were 4lb and one fat 2lb bass that was 15 inches.
Baits I used:
(white) beetle spin, football head jig with a rage tail craw for trailer (Brown & Black) and large (chartreuse) spinner bait with a single Colorado
All in all it was a good day and I will be back to this property

I think this is one of the most under appreciated lakes in Dallas Metro area. It has as much fish managment effort per acre as any club lake. We have added habitat, fertilized for the bloom and added tilapia. More tilapia and fertilzer will be pumped in, in April. I have had some really good days fishing out here. Lots of 3 and 4 lb fish with a few 6 lb fish and last year an 8lb fish was caught. Probably no double digit fish yet, but give it two more years.
