This is our third time to fish Gallant Creek. It is fast becoming our favorite fishing hole. They water is very clear and the lake is beautiful. We had several hits where we could watch the fish take the worm. The total number of fish we caught has gone down slightly each time but the quality of the fish is improving. We caught several two bass, one was 19” long, on this trip. As always, the owners dropped by and asked if all is well. Very nice people. Wind was tough but we had anther great day boating 49 fish with 21 being over the 14” slot.

Thanks for the report. Were you able to remove the 28 smaller fish? As we remove more and more fish the quantity of fish caught will likely be reduced, but the size of the fish will increase. We need to remove 1600 fish this year. We have removed less than 400. Keep harvesting!
