Fished Julian Saturday morning the bite was nonexistent. Water temps ranged from 82–86* with visibility to ~1 ft, water is very dingy and the black scum will foul everything you throw. Caught a 3.3 before the sun touched the water on a big spinner everything else was a cull (4) and spaced way apart. The lake is beautiful and property surrounding the lake is well kept. The lake is full with a small amount of water going over the spillway. We couldn’t use the club boat because there is 5” of water in the boat and no way to bail any out, it also didn’t have a battery for the trolling motor, maybe I missed that fact in the instructions. We got off the water @11, to rehydrate and towel off. The geese landing and taking off was a bonus and I got to see some hummingbirds, a first this year. Tight lines guys, Ron
