I fished Brushy Creek all day Monday with Mr. Jim Cravens of Austin.

Water was up and muddy.  Water draining at overflow structure.

Fished the 8-10 ft water with no strikes.  Lipless, square bill, and worm.

Fish were near shore adjacent to vegetation.

Top water, lipless cranks, swim baits, and jerk baits worked best.

caught about 25 with 4 pounds even the largest.  Foul hooked a channel cat with a floating jerk bait.

rained all morning till after noon.  Only a few bites in the am but caught a 3-7/8 at about noon on swim bait.

Caught 4 pounder on top water Whopper Plopper about 1:30 pm.
