Beautiful day on a fabulous property! Fishing was so-so, post cold front seemed to have the bite in somewhat of a lockdown. All bass caught on bluegill imitation streamers. Hardware picked up a couple. Not a huge numbers guy, you will always get a visual report for me. If it’s an off the hook bite I will let you know. Awesome time with my kids!

Dude, fly casting is easy compared to bait casters…you should try it, it’s a blast. I look forward to going back to hidden and finding those fish!

I haven't been to Hidden Springs since mid to late summer so I'm not sure what the grass looks like now. But back then my son and I hammered them on weightless Senkos on the grass edges. Finding those edges and a weightless presentation was the key. Again that was the mid summer pattern.

Man I've always wanted to give fly fishing a try. But I struggle trying to keep my baitcasters from looking like an eagle nest. Hidden Springs is a beautiful place with numbers and some big girls!
