We have gone from Texas Fall Fishing to Absolute Texas Winter Fishing conditions….............fished Tarpley on Friday for less than 2 hours. The cold rain made it impossible to enjoy making an all day effort. It was pouring down and we never even tried to launch the boat with the wind and rain pounding. Did a quick walk around in the rain to say we tried. 10 fish on square bill only. Mother Nature will humble you at times. This lake is absolutely beautiful and the property is well maintained. We will be back in the spring and give it another shot.
