3/10/11 Afternoon

Removed 22 under 14”
Caught 16 over 14” with the largest at 3 lbs
8 on a fly rod and the others on soft plastic with the smaller
worms doing the best.
Bass were not on the shore line.

Wow, 38 in an afternoon—now that’s fast fishing!

Joe, you said they weren’t on the shore line, so I assume they aren’t spawning yet.  How deep were they? 

And what did you think of the lake?  Will weeds be a problem when it warms up?  How sheltered is it from the wind?

Thanks for any info—I’d like to give Sash a try someday.

They were from 2 1/2 to 5 feet.The lake is very low.I did NOT locate any grass and I don’t think grass
will just appear later.
There is protection from the wind but still anything above 12 mph will be a problem.This is an easy and fun lake to fish and should be a good fly rod lake.I wish there was grass in the lake.
