I Fished Fairfield with a guest on the afternoon of 3/11/11.  The wind was blistering, which forced us to bank the boat.  It turns out that was a great decision.  We caught approximately 35, which included several in the 4lb range.  We did not catch a fish under 2 lbs.  The females are full of eggs and sporting red tails.  Texas-rigged creature baits faired the best.  The lake is void of vegetation and the water is very murky which is concerning.  I have fished this location before and it had plenty of hydrilla at that time.  Overall a great day
