I fished with a guest in wind strong enough to drag a heavy anchor along the bottom, using my pelican boat as a sail.  I’m definitely going to check out some of the drift socks I’ve been hearing about.

Had a good afternoon but less than expected for turf tanks.  We caught around 20.  2 would go over 3lbs, the rest were about a 1-1.5lb average.  Caught on baby brush hogs and zoom flukes. 

I really like this place, especially for the location close to Dallas.  I’ve only fished the largest tank but I may try the other large one when I go back.  Has anyone had luck with any of the other ponds?
