Fished Kickapoo for about 3 hours with my nephew. We caught 42 fish and harvested 36 fish 14 inches and smaller. The fish are thin and we need to do some serious harvesting. However, if you are looking to teach someone how to fish, this lake is great. The fish are very aggresive right now. My nephew caught his first worm fish ever. He probably caught 10 worm fish and missed another 20 fish. Down size your tackle and take a kid fishing on this lake and you will have a blast!
