Fished the entire day on 4/19 with a guest and his son. 100+ fish with 35 culls. Biggest was 5.02 lbs with a few 4 pounders and plenty of 3s. The wind pushed us around pretty good but on this lake there are lots of places to hide or at least tie off or anchor. My guest and his son fished in from the pontoon boat (which is great) while I fished from a kayak. With the lake at full pool, I got WAY back up in the creek and found a few good ones hiding back there.

This is just an awesome lake. If you live in DFW, make sure to treat yourself and get out to this property. 

My guests were from the Boston. The son, while a lifelong fisherman, had never been TX bass fishing before. I caught him mumbling under his breath, "This place is paradise." And "I don't ever want to leave." Don't underestimate this jewel we have an hour outside of FW.
