Fished Friday March 18 with my son-in-law. His first time bass fishing. Stared at 8:15 AM and had our first fish by 8:30am.
The lake was white caping and there is no place to escape the wind so our fishing methods were controlled by the wind. MY son-in-law caught his first black bass that day, it was a 2.25 pounder.
caught a total of 5 fish in the boat plus two that spit the hook back at us after nice jumps.
The two hook spitters were on rattle traps-silver & black
The 5 fish in the boat were on ring worms-silver & black
All fish were 2.25 to 2.75 and all healthy.
