Beautiful area tucked away north of the suburbs.  Some nice hills in that area, and the actual property is grass and well maintained.

Cloudy day with storms forecasted by around noon.  Got to the lake around 6am, but today this lake didn't have that serene morning mist, it was windy and gloomy.  I went to some spots I caught nice fish in before, and no bites on topwater or texas rig ( I worked each spot with both).  I worked my way down the east side and caught and released a nice 4 lb bass in a perfect little mini-cove in the middle of the east side, on topwater.   I apparently caught him eating, he had crawfish antenna still visible just visible inside his mouth.  Easy to fish this lake in terms of weeds/moss...very little of that to worry about. 

I have fished this lake before and had a lot more action, this was bad weather/time.  Looking forward to going back.  I made it out right as it started to rain, and it poured down right as I got on the road.
