Great day.  I fished Ben Wheeler; Twin Lakes on 6/1/19.  I started at the dock of East lake on topwater and got nothing.   I drove through the woods to West lake and loaded up the boat.  I fished from 6:30 to 11ish, and caught 11 LMB, with the biggest at 17 inches.  I went back to East lake and caught a 4.6 from dock, then caught 3 more, one at 3.8 and two at 15 inches.  The limnology of these two lakes is instructive.  On 5/29, the area had significant wind/tornado/rain activity.  Reports say 6 inches of rain. Both ponds were high.  Then I witnessed an interesting development.  Saturday was very low wind (calm surface), surface temperature (90+), in an area surrounded by significant agricultural run-off.  An algae bloom followed and it was huge.
