WOW what a lake!!!! I fished this lake on 03/13/10 for half a day. I fished from 12pm to 5 pm. I heard this was one of the most unfished lakes in the club. Dallas & Houston Members??? Wake up an fish this lake!!!!!!
The sky was clear all day, the water was 58 degrees and a little murky, but not to bad. A little cool for this time of the year. The wind was blowing 10 to 20 miles an hour and there is no protection except for a cove in front of a house. I caught about 10 fish between 1 lb to 2.5 lb range on a Carolina rigged white bass assassin and a crawdad rattletrap . I would have caught more but my battery died early so I had to fish from the bank. It was difficult, but in the next few weeks whoever fishes this lake will need a boat.
I got to visit with the owner and according to him the lake is about 4 feet low. He said during the summer they will try to build a dock. He also told me there are BIG trees, submerged structures, good moss cover in this lake. The owner told me there are a lot bass and catfish in the double digits. I will be going back in the next week. Oh one last thing the owner said fish the trees in the middle of the lake that is where the big bass are.

Mark,
This lake is a great lake. I have fished it twice and both times caught lots of fish. Both trips produced fish over 6 lbs. The trees in the middle of the lake do hold fish; especially the large single tree. Once you go there you will see the tree I’m referring to.
