Visited this lake for the first time Saturday.  It was difficult to launch the boat due to the low water level but my 8 year old son and I managed to find a place on the west end of the northern most pit. 

I spent most of the time working with him on his first fishing trip but still managed to land 12 bass with the largest 3 lbs 12 oz.  The fish were all good size and terrific fighters.  Caught everything on bass assassins.  When the water level comes up, this should be a great place to fish.
