For the first time I fished SW Lake on Friday PM and Saturday all day. Went out there with my daughter (11), her good buddy and her good buddy’s Dad (my good buddy). We tent camped Friday. Nice sized lake but not much break from the wind - and it was definitely present on Saturday.

Friday I caught 2 crappie in the middle of the lake near some brush and a total of 4 small bass under 14” (all were kept, cleaned and cooked).
Saturday, I got no action for 2 hours throwing everytting at it until I switch over to a Strike King Zero rigged wacky. First two casts and I landed 2 bass about 18”. For the rest of the day, between the 4 of us, we caught a few more over the cull size, the biggest going under 3 lbs (near the dam). Once the wind shifted from out of the south to out of the north, the fish got lock-jaw. Kept and cleaned another 10 under 14”, half of them under 10”.
Nice place, I would fish it again.
