Mike and I fished Saturday morning until about 11:00 am when it started to get pretty hot and fishing slowed considerably.  There wasn't a breeze when we started out and a light one picked up about 8:30.  We caught 10 fish, 3 which were harvested.  The biggest was 5 lbs.  The other 6 were 3 to 4 lbs.  All very fat and fun to catch.  A whopper popper worked when we first got there, then crank baits the rest of the morning.  We caught most of the fish up by the banks today.  Couldn't get them to bit in the deeper water.   We have had good luck in the past on this lake with wacky rigged Senkos, but not today.  This is a great lake we enjoy fishing.  It is very easy for us to get to and the owners boat works well for us.  Talked with the owner on the way out.  A really nice guy.  Always enjoyable to chat with him.
