My son and I fished Yates Place on Saturday, June 29th.  It was cloudy and cool in the morning with occasional sprinkles and a limited rain shower in the afternoon.  We were on the water at 6:30 and off at 7 PM, with a long break for lunch from 10 AM - 1 PM.  We ended the day catching 39, with several throwing the lure.  Of those caught, 24 were removed and our largest measured almost 18".  All the fish fought really well.  We had no hits on the chatter bait and buzz bait.  Caught about six on wacky rigged Senko type stick baits.  The vast majority were caught on a red lipless Strike King lure called Red Eyed Shad.  The fish never stopped hitting this lure so we fished all day with it.  We love fishing Yates Place.  What a great host and venue.
