Fished Lee Lake near Hamilton this am.  Pretty lake and pretty drive from County Road through ranch to get to the lake.  Had big numbers expectations based on a previous report but I just couldn’t get them figured out this morning.  Caught six bass from 1.5 to 3 pounds and two nice bluegill on the fly.  Big bass was on a top water popper fly.  This place looks great and I’m guessing holds good numbers of good bass I just couldn’t find them today - I’ll be back.  Great places to eat in Hamilton and Hico coming or going to go fishing - had some great Mexican food on the way home.  Pretty drive and good country stations on the radio make for a great day.
