Member Jon Waters and I fish this site for two hours on Wednesday 3/17 from 10 AM to noon. We caught 5 fish all in the 2 lb class. The Lake is off colored with all the rainfall and appears to me to be about two weeks from really turning on. The lake is as full as I have seen it in more than 5 years. In fact all the timber is under water with the exception of one tree. Please note that you must have 4 wheel drive to access most of the lake or you will not be able to pass the small valley still holding running water that access’s the south end of the lake. Do not try to cross without 4 wheel drive. Since there are two entrances to this property use the first entrance to the right where you see the gas wells and follow the road to the lake (without crossing the creek).
