Son and I fished Sunday AM at Riley. Finally a break from the summer heat. We had 60 deg air, 65 deg water and foggy overcast until 930 am.  We caught 9 fish total with 2 at 16" released and 7 culls under 14".  Most were caught on soft plastic craw. I thought all of the fish were a little skinny for their length, so I  think this lake could benefit from some extra forage.  We didnt see much baitfish around.  No grass at all, but plenty of laydowns, and that is where caught them.

The property is very nice, with a nice grounds, cabin with dock.  Very peaceful and secluded in the tall pines.
