Fished Friday 4/8 from 7 am till around 11 am. Caught 32 total, kept 8 under 14” and the rest were all between 15” and 18” . No big ones but good action and hard fighters. Started with plastics and had caught a few and then sun came out and wind picked up and switched to a small dbl willow/white homemade spinnerbait and ran it right above the grassy areas, the water was about a foot deep above the weeds and caught right at 15 in about an hour. It slowed and went to the dam area and ran rattletrap and caught a bunch more before I left. The lake is very low and really needs water. Weeds are thick for about 20’ from bank now and makes bank fishing tough. There is a boat ( jon boat, looked new)that the owner said was ok to use by members. I will bring trolling motor and battery next time. Good property to have around Houston.
