Wow! Wow! Wow! The fishing was off the hook. What an awesome 3 hours of fishing. Conditions were perfect. NW light wind with cloud cover.  Fellow member Jon Waters and I caught over 40 fish in 4 hours of fishing with a 5.13, 5.12, 5.10, 4.12 and more than 10 fish over 4 lbs and more than 25 fish over 3 lbs. Only two dinks. All fish were 100% to 130% of relative weight (very healthy fish). Most fish were caught on spinner baits. 3/8 oz double willowleaf charteuse and white seemed to catch the most fish. Moreover, a stop and go retreive with the fish hitting on the stop produced more strikes than a slow steady retrieve. Let the spinner bait fall for a second and Wham! All the fish were caught in water 5 foot or less.  This Lake is one hour from N. Dallas and accessible without 4 wheel drive. However, like most proprties this time a year a truck is highly recommended. Don’t bring your Honda Civic.
