12/1/19 came back to try again. Gusts were up to 25mph so tougher day. With my son again. Caught 4 - 1.5-2.5lb. Fished 12-5. Caught 3 in the first 15 minutes. Then they didn't like me anymore. Used spinners because they were effective just 4 days prior. Tried skinny dipper, whopper plopper, square bills, swim baits, flukes, senkos. None worked. No boat fished from bank. Nice day though, except for the wind.

We will have a boat by Spring. Currently there is no place to put a boat as the lake is lined with 20 foot of rip rap around the perimeter. This means you can't drag a jon boat up 20 foot or rock without destroying the boat in short order. We are working on a plan to clear out a small area where we can drag a jon boat up on land.
Tying a boat to the pier will not work as these boats fill with water and folks don't like to bail water and bilge pumps and batteries don't last long.
We will have it figured about by March 2020 if not sooner.
