Fished Mewbourne, this lake surprised me as I finally caught short fish. I removed 5 and put into the owners’s new “Under 3 lb floating fish trap”. All 5 were under 1 lb. Caught about 12 total with my biggest weighing almost 4 lbs. Algae / snot grass is still pretty bad but it is manageable with weightless baits. Tilapia have been stocked and you can see them all over the place. There were also huge balls of fry as well from the spawn and none of my fish had eggs. Got to talk with the onwer for a while which is always a pleasure. He is determined to have this pond be one of the featured trophy spots in the club and wants this lake to produce a double digiit fish asap!
