I fished our two newest lakes (both on the same property) with member Brent Boone. Brent is the co-owner of Tailwaters Fly Fishing the premier fly fishing retail store and outfitter in th southwest. Brent has fished on virtually every continent in the world and has fished for hundreds of species of fish.

Twin Lakes are two 17 acre lakes located 75 miles SE of Dallas. Each lake fishes a bit different, but both are loaded with 2-4 lbs bass with lots of fish much larger than that. We caught 4 fish over 5 lbs, the largest was a beautiful 5.12 fat female. Most of the fish fell prey to spinnerbaits, however, senko type baits also paid off. All total we caught approx 60 fish in 6 hours of fishing. The weekend prior to our trip a 9 lb fish was caught out of East Lake.
