We had such a great time I don’t know where to start with the fishing report!!!!! This is a new property to the club and PWF has knocked this one out of the ballpark with this lake. I will be brief and concise as possible.
I took a friend of mine who said he will be joining very soon. We fished from 9am to 3pm on 04/15/2011 and caught over 40 fish between the both of us. We kept 11 fish under the 14 inch limit. All the fish that were kept were between 12 and 14 inches and extremely healthy. The fish went from 1lb to 3.5 lbs. The biggest fish going 3.5 lbs or maybe 4 lbs. The fish were still spawning and extremely aggressive, especially the males. We caught a ton of males and they were long, lean and very healthy.

location was Crockett-Melody Acres. 4 people fished consistently from Friday noon to Monday morning good friday through Easter Sunday and harvested 7 bass 14 inches or smaller and 1 crappie. Released 1 about 5.5 lbs and 1 about 4.5 lbs. Wind was blowing pretty hard we couldn’t keep the boat in position so we fished off the bank for most of the time. Water was brown and off color, overall fishing was pretty tough but the cabin and lake are great.
