Fished 10:30am to 4:30pm Sunday on the big lake with a 30 minute break for lunch. Water was 48F in the morning by ramp and warmed up to 56+ in afternoon with plenty of sunshine. The majority of the lake was turbid with only about a foot of visibility due to the recent rains. The shallower end of the lake was much clearer and warmer. Started around the launch area and along the damn with no luck so we worked our way to the middle area of the lake west of the small islands. There were a large amount of flooded grass areas throughout that end of the lake with the lake very high. We landed a total of 6 bass (4 before lunch and 2 after) with the largest bass 4lb 11oz, and the rest right around 4lb +/-. Five were caught on Chatterbaits and one on a weightless watermelon baby brush hog. The most productive area was off the point that looks like an old tree lined road. On the way out, we stopped and fished from shore in the small lake for about 30 minutes and caught 3 bass in the 14" to 16" range (1 on chatterbait and 2 on baby brush hog weightless). These were caught to the left of the cattails. This entire property is extremely well kept and I will definitely be back.
