A buddy and I decided to challenge Mah nature and the weather people…..... we lost! Cold (high 40 s) and windy @ 15 mph and a constant misty rain. But hey, when you've sat around the house for too long you try stupid. Lake Side is a true quality bass lake. I am speaking from experience. You have a legitimate chance a 7lb or better fish, plus they fight. Having said that, I would caution, wait a while and let the lake recover from the recent storms.  Vegetation is minimal and the water extremely murky from run-off. With no weed lines or lily pads, finding any discernable pattern or holding feature is tough! We managed a half dozen hook-up between us, but it was work. Make no mistake, this location can yield the kind of trip that PWF  is rightly proud of, but I'm hoping for some sun shine and warmer days.
