Got to the lake about 8 am and had planned to use the Jon boat at the lake.  
When I went to flip over the boat I was startled at the resident that was living there,
unfortunately he was as startled as I was and he sprayed!!!   Yes a skunk was taking up residence under the boat.   Luckily he did not get me directly but the whole area was unbearable. 
I left for about 4 hours and came back around noon, the smell was still there but not as bad. Ended up fishing for a few hours and caught a few.  Mostly on dark plastics and a black spinner bait.
