Fished BlackJack from mid-morning until mid-afternoon under significant overcast and brisk breezes.  I had intended to fish from the boat but opted to walk the bank after seeing the strength and direction of the wind.  My first cast with a buzzbait was rewarded with a fat 2.5 lb bass but unfortunately that was the only topwater action.  All the rest of the 34 bass were caught with a spinnerbait or swimbait worked over grass in 1-3 feet of water.  The impact of the aquatic vegetation control treatments is evident.  Most of the bass were 15'-16" and dark in color.  They can certainly seem bigger once the burrow into the weeds and you have to slowly horse them out.  The largest catch was a thin 20 incher that looked spawned out.
