My 10 year old son and I fished Leinweber on Thursday 3-12.  We drove in from Odessa the night before and I didn't have any tackle prep done, so we didn't get to fishing until about 9am.  The water was down quite a bit from when I fished it in the summer.  I found it a little tougher to fish this time with less grass and less water but it was still a good day.  We couldn't get on a real pattern but caught fish all around using senkos up near the bank or other targets and using lipless cranks in the more open water.  Our best 5 went 19lbs.  My son got the big fish of the day at 5lb 4oz.  We were off the water by 4:30 pm.  Would have stayed longer but my anchor came unclipped from the rope somehow.  Mermaids down there I guess...
