Beautiful sunny day with mild wind in the morning and picked up a lot around 4 pm.  Arrived at 9 and fished from the bank where we caught 5 LMB near the cabin.  Caught my personal best (6.26 lbs) just left of the dock. Most of the bank fish hit around 10-15 from the bank.  We then headed to the SW side of the lake around lunch. This is where we caught the rest. They were all in the shallows and up against the shoreline. We threw some spinners, chatter bait, fluke and texas rigs. Texas rig was the only thing we got and bites on. We could hear fish jumping all around us and I am sure with more experience we could have landed more. This was just our third solo trip.  Definitely happy with what we caught and can't wait to go back. Loving being a part of PWF!!
