Saturday a.m. my wife & I fished the East Lake. Water was up from the storm early in the week. It was a perfect overcast morning with no wind! Within a few minutes on the water, I caught several on the flyrod using a popper. In the cove adjacent to the dam, had a 3+ pounder to the boat and lost him at the last minute! Had topwater action with several hookups. But majority of fish were caught on a black/silver Finesse worm on the north side about 15’ from the bank.
Caught 16 fish ranging 1 1/2 -2#. A Great day on the water.
