Five Finger Springs is an amazing little body of water.

Picked up 24 total, most culled(14) with a good portion being at or over 15" with the largest weighing 2 3/4lb.

Mostly fished a Black Neon Yum Mighty Bug with a Gambler Hollow point, either burning back as a topwater or letting it sink and jerking it like a craw. Flashy swimmer w/white swimbait picked up some as well, long cast in this clear water and fluttering it.

Craig called Sunday and mentioned the lock is sticking. Until we get it replaced, make sure you get the numbers lined up, squeeze and pull hard.

I'm going to start carrying some penetrating oil to drop on some of these locks. That lock works, you just have to yank it hard to get it to open. I think a few drops of oil and it'll be like new.

I told the owner about the lock after we spoke and he said he would get it replaced or oiled soon. Thanks for letting us know.
