I fished from 8am until around 3:30pm.  Light and variable breeze with a squall that hit around 10am. Fair amount of light rain. Weeds are still manageable - I could fish almost the entire lake.  The bass were hungry, biting on a small white spinner, a 1/4oz jig head with a pumpkin grub tail, and at times on a Pop-R.  Senkos worked just fair.  I removed 22 small fish and returned 58 up to 2lb 4oz.  The bass were abundant in the 1.5 to 2 lb range. These are beautiful, healthy fish, and if we can get enough fishermen out here to cull, who knows what the average size bass will be in a year or two!  BTW, this is maybe the most beautiful ranch property I've seen.  Book this lake!
