Fished Jermar Lake with a few friends on Good Friday or should I call it (windy Friday) from 2pm until 7pm. The main lake was white capping all day. I did not even bother to put boat in the water because I would have never made it back to the boat launch, so we walked the banks. Grass was a little high around the bank area, my rubber boots came in handy.

Caught and harvested 15 (12 pounds) under the slot limit. Caught 6 over slot with one around 4lb. The blue gill in the small lake are like piranhas the way they attack and peck at everything.  Bait of choice was white spinner bait with silver willow leaf blades, silver rattle trap and chartreuse beetle spin. We did not run in to any snakes while bank fishing which makes any fishing trip better for me.

I would consider camping at this location if the owner would cut the grass in a small area and then I could fish all the lakes this place has to offer.
